     By controlling the waste gate's signal you can select from an unlimited amount of settings. Dial-a- boost has a precision needle valve for accuracy to 0.5 psi. 

     You can even upgrade to a remote interrupt switch that will allow you to run your turbo without a wastegate, and can  instantly have a wastegate only while holding a button. Why do that ? So you can relieve harmful  drive pressure, soften wide open shifts, eliminate up shift turbo shudder during trailer pulling, drag racing or sled pulling. Drag racers and sled pullers use this device as a safety precaution so at the flip of a switch they can just open the gates and dump boost build up into the exhaust of high output single turbo setups and twin turbo set ups.

     Don't waste your money on a "no blow open" wastegate that is just not necessary and is hard on your turbo and motor.
